THE CAR

An original, numbers matching 253ci V8, manual 4-speed Holden Torana LX SL sedan.

It is a rust free car with original panels that are laser straight. The engine has been recently fully rebuilt - heads have been ported and polished for modern fuel and better flow. The original carburettor has been rebuilt and the car has its original exhaust system with correct hangers.

The gearbox has been rebuilt, a new radiator installed and an aluminium heat exchange has been installed as have new brake pads installed. The original suspension rubbers are aged but OK.

All electrics including wipers and gauges work and the washer bottle has been replaced.  The instrument cluster has been restored and re-calibrated.

All manuals and service history books are to hand.

The original Vehicle Identification Certificate shows delivery by Freeman Motors Limited of 221 Grenfell Street, Adelaide on 15 February 1978.

Colour is Jasmine (30518), Trim is Tan (67V), Chassis No. is CLX061055M, Body Serial No. is 601081M.

The dash, door cards and headlining are in excellent condition, the car needs new upholstery and a paint job to bring her back to her former glory.

An original Aunger luver goes with the car and there are original Jellybean mag wheels with new tyres fitted available at an additional cost.

The car drives beautifully and has bags of power given the engine rebuild.
