1979 CHEVROLET CAMARO Z28 COUPE
Imported into Australia in the early 1980s, this second generation Camaro is one of the few credible performance cars of its time.
Finished in black, this pony class Z28 coupe in presented right hand drive with vibrant orange and red stripes. The conversion was professionally completed in Victoria in 1983 and engineering documents from the time are to hand.
This car has a strong original 350ci Chevy V8 engine coupled to a smooth 3-speed automatic transmission and four barrel carburettor. The exhaust note is fantastic.
Optioned with removable T-top roof, black vinyl interior with high back bucket seats, power steering, power windows, central locking, tilt away steering wheel and electric front and rear window defroster.
The T-top roof is easily removed and stored in custom covers in the boot.
New white letter Mastercraft Avenger tyres have just been fitted to the original turbine aluminium finned GM wheels that were only produce between 1978 and 1981
