THE STORY

Developed by Harley-Davidson’s Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO), the 2005 Screamin’ Eagle was a landmark model for the company.

The lineup featured bold, factory-custom builds that used high-performance parts and had specialised paintwork.

The VRSCSE2 Screamin’ Eagle V-Rod featured a 1,250cc big-bore engine that was a version of the liquid-cooled Revolution V-Twin engine developed with Porsche.

The engine produced 123 horsepower at 8,000 RPM thanks to big bore pistons, high-flow cylinder heads and optimised cam timing. A five-speed transmission was employed to help cruise along the highway.

The bikes were fitted with high-performance Brembo four-piston brakes and a push-button seat latch was introduced to create a smooth custom profile.

They are highly identifiable by their massive 240mm rear tyres and hand-polished/chrome plated engine components.

They are a highly sought-after, limited-edition bike.

THE BIKE

This is a 2-owner 2005 Harley Davidson Screamin’ Eagle VRSCE2 finished in Electric Orange and Black with Black snake-skin pattern seat.

It is believed only 2,400 units were produced in 2005 and 2006 and only 800 were Electric Orange and Black.

The bike has travelled a mere 16,948 kms over its 20-year life, the current owner has owned the bike for 2 years and has never ridden it.

The engine starts effortlessly and all gauges and electrics work.

The paint, chrome and stainless steel are all in outstanding condition. Apart from changing the oil and filter, the bike has never needed any work.

The original owner’s manual has never been opened and is still wrapped in its plastic.
