The ninth generation of the Ford F-Series was produced between 1992 and 1998 and included a return of the Flareside bed design (previously ceased in 1987) which included side steps on either side of the truck.

Available in many different configurations from chassis cab base models, through to XLT trimmed models with chrome and plush seating, the F-150 came with one of three gas engines – The 4.9L inline-six, the 5.0L V8 and the 5.8L V8.

The lines of the hood, front fender and grille were rounded off to assist aerodynamics.
