THE STORY
For many classic car enthusiasts, there are few more pleasing sights than a mid-50’s Chevy.
The Chevrolet Two-Ten, or 210 was the midrange model of the Chevrolet car from 1953 to 1957. It took its name by shortening the production series number (2100) by one digit in order to capitalise on the 1950s trend toward numerical auto names
These cars are known for their performance and looks. They share the bright body side trim design with their bigger cousin, the Bel Air and have a center pillar.
Two door hard top coupes such as this are the rarest of all, with only one built for every 7 Bel Airs produced. Less than 20,000 were produced from a total production run of 1.7 million 1956 Chevys.
THE CAR
This 1956 Chevrolet 210 is a beautiful example that has been fully restored and is ready to drive anywhere.
Having undergone frame off restoration, the body is rust free and laser straight.
The car has sparkling red paint, new glass, chrome and stainless steel. The interior is immaculate with new upholstery, mouldings and carpet.
The suspension has been freshly overhauled in Australia.
The car has period correct “Chevy Moon” style hub caps and new white wall tyres.
It has optional factory air conditioning and an AM-FM radio.
With its timeless looks and strong running condition, this car is a show-stopper.
These 210 series “post” vehicles have long been prized by hot-rodders the world over and it is hard to find an unmodified example in outstanding condition such as this.
