THE CAR
Finished to a very high standard, this stunning 1934 Ford Tudor hot rod built was completed in Adelaide in 2008 by Chris Horewood.
Finished in sparkling purple, the body is NOS steel construction over a Rod Tech chassis and the running boards are fibreglass. The car has fantastic lines, timeless curves and iconic grill.
Powered by a 6.0 litre, 400 horsepower Chevy LS2 V8 engine, the car has fantastic linear power and the reliability of a newer, fuel injected engine.
The transmission is a smooth T700 four speed automatic transmission that is linked to a nine inch differential with 3.5 gears.
Inside, the cockpit is clad in sumptuous tan leather that still smells like new. Unlike most hot rods, there is ample room for four adults and the seats are comfortable with fantastic headroom.
Features include suicide doors, custom side mirrors, air conditioning, rack and pinion steering, power windows and central locking.
The classic gauge cluster includes speedo with electronic odometer, tacho, oil pressure, volts, water temperature and fuel level.
The car sits on beautiful chrome custom wheels and the steering wheel was designed to compliment these.
Underneath the car is highly detailed and extremely clean.
The car is fully engineered and road registered in South Australia.
Stand out from the crowd.
