THE STORY
Introduced in 2007, the Can-Am Spyder is a three-wheeled “reverse trike” that feature two wheels in the front and one in the rear. The bikes offer motorcycle exhilaration mixed with roadster stability.
The trikes have a proprietary vehicle stability system which includes anti-lock brakes, traction control and stability control to prevent rollovers and wheel lift.
2016 was a defining year for the Can-AM Spyder where it phased out older models and consolidated its trike line up to the F3 cruiser series which had a 1,330 cc Rotax triple-cylinder engine and a more muscular appearance.
The 2016 RT Limited model included creature comforts such as self-leveling air suspension, heated grips, an electrically adjustable windscreen and massive integrated cargo trunks.
THE TRIKE

This is an extremely cool 2016 Can-Am Spyder RT Limited SE6 finished in Pearl White with chrome accents and 12-spoke chrome wheels.
Powered by the 1,330cc Rotax in-line 3-cylinder engine (115 HP) which is high-torque, spritely and fun to drive.
This bike has a semi-automatic 6-speed transmission, adjustable rear suspension, 155 litre rear storage, ABS brakes and a built-in Gamin Zumo GPS system.
Setup as a touring weapon, this bike’s riding stance is upright and relaxed. It also has the “ultra-comfort” touring saddle with adjustable/removeable driver’s backrest that gives the rider more leg room.
There is also an electrically adjustable windshield for wind/weather protection, heated rider and passenger hand grips for cold-weather and adjustable footboards. Front and rear cameras have been fitted and these are GPS enhanced and controllable through a phone app.
A premium 4-speaker audio system, colour digital gauge display, trip computer, integrated LED lights and fog lamps and front cargo rolling travel bag round out the package.
This special Spyder has travelled only 24,670 kms and comes with a Can-Am riding jacket and custom South Australian built Shadow trailer. The trailer is lockable and fully enclosed with 2 jerry cans.
The combination of open-air freedom, stability, comfort and effortless rideability make this a standout machine.
