Launched in 2004 for the 2005 model year, the Porsche 911 (997) Carrera S marked a triumphant evolution of the iconic 911 lineage. Porsche’s PASM adaptive suspension, paired with larger S-specific brakes and a standard limited-slip differential provided sharp and communicative handling, equally at home on a winding mountain pass as it was cruising the highway.
